We help hard working individuals, small businesses and their owners, to keep more of the income and wealth they generate, by giving them the benefit of over 30 years’ experience in tax planning, adapting to the changing tax landscape, so as to enhance their lifestyles and accelerate their journey towards financial independence.

We recently implemented an analysis of some of our owner managed business (OMB) clients and ascertained that we were generally cutting the owners’ tax bills to below 20%, from a national average of around 30%. This can save families significant amounts of tax on an annual basis.

We provide proactive tax planning, tax advice and tax focused services to our clients. We really care about providing a great service and our clients’ best interests are at the forefront of our minds.

Martin Westall

Martin is Optimum’s Managing Director and founder. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation with thirty years of post-qualification experience. Having previously worked for some of the country’s most renowned firms, he has obtained an extensive working knowledge of tax. As a Chartered Tax Advisor, Martin has a wealth of experience providing tax advice to a range of clients, particularly owner-managed businesses and high net-worth individuals. Martin’s strength is in helping individuals keep more of the income and wealth they generate, rather than losing it, unnecessarily, through taxation. This accelerates our clients’ journeys towards financial independence and security.

Emily Main

Emily works with Martin to effectively implement our clients’ tax planning. She has many years’ experience in the Tax industry and is currently working towards her ATT Tax Qualification. Emily is also our Self-Assessment lead, managing our extensive range of client Self-Assessment compliance matters, whether it’s reporting for ex-pats or high net worth individuals selling their businesses or properties.
